In October 2010 I was sent about 60 cigar boxes. Now what to do with them? My thoughts were that I would paint 'manly' things like motorcycles on the lids.  Then I got realistic and realized I won't paint like that, due to boredom.  My unique skills are based on color, abstraction, and creativity.  I had a collection of fabrics, especially silks, that I had saved from 50 years of sewing for my family. I started designing simple designs - fish and ducks, and later complicated local scenes, each using about 35 fabric pieces or more. The results and the popularity are very pleasing. Look at  Fabric Paintings for my techniques using up to 140 different fabrics and or pieces..  You may create your own, following my design ideas and steps. , I cannot repeat so the buyer actually gets one of a kind. .Each one becomes unique  (The numbers are my photo number, not how many I have created.)
