Abstract and non-subjective
originals

Loeys' techniques prohibit repeating an image, it is just impossible. She likes to start an image on the floor, or in her yard.  She pours very thin paint on her canvas or paper.  It dries overnight, maybe freezing in the process, creating unusual areas that are not obtainable with a brush.  This is repeated many times.  Next, it is time to start looking, thinking, enhancing, hiding, and finding a pattern.  She likes to paint while listening to one selection of music per image, as the music sets a stage for rhythms and patterns.   After the painting is almost complete, she adds calligraphy or collage. The non subjective works on canvas are signed on the side, so that they may be rotated on your wall. All works have a second signing on the back of the image.
